Meet Ádrián Kriska: he is a multidisciplinary artist deeply rooted in the rural and mythological traditions of Central and Eastern Europe. His artistic practice spans textiles, sculptures, and music, influenced by childhood memories, rural landscapes, and symbolic connections to nature and the past.
Currently, Adrián resides in Fuerteventura, a semi-desert island in the Canary Islands, where he is working on a transformative project with his partner, dog, and friends. In October 2024, Adrián embarked on a new chapter by moving to a piece of land in the Parque Rural de Betancuria. There, he is transforming a ruined house into a multifunctional space: an artistic studio, guesthouse, artist residency, summer school, garden, and working farm. This ambitious project reflects his passion for balancing art, nature, and community.
His journey to Fuerteventura included an inspiring stop at Casa Camper Barcelona. After five exhausting days on the road, he found a revitalizing respite and a source of inspiration at our hotel. As a result of this experience, Adrián created an exclusive mix for Casa Camper, blending pastoral ambient sounds with rhythmic, shepherd-like percussive layers.
The mix concludes with the track “Burning the Old Home”, a homage to his past homes in Prague and Slovakia. The song symbolizes rebirth and transformation, reflecting the process of burning the old wood from the house he now calls home in Fuerteventura.
