A visual journey through photography
At Casa Camper Berlin, we believe in the connection between art and the guest experience. That’s why we’ve carefully selected a series of Timothy Schaumburg’s photographs to be part of our room design, offering visitors a unique perspective through his lens.

CC: How long have you been living in Berlin?
TS: I’ve been living in Berlin for almost 13 years now, and I love it.
CC: How would you describe your work in three words?
TS: Narratives / Emotion / Fiction
CC: Does the dreamy blurriness of your images have any connection with the city?
TS: Not at all.
CC: If you were to spend a day with friends visiting Berlin, what would you do?
TS: It really depends on the friend, but I’d go for long walks in Tiergarten and Grunewald, enjoy great food in neighborhoods like Charlottenburg or Wedding, or spend a day in Kreuzberg to show them a completely different vibe.
CC: And the night?
TS: I’d sleep to wake up early for more walks, museums, and food!
CC: Last question: What are you addicted to these days? (a special dish, a Berlin spot, a TV series, etc.)
TS: I’m addicted to the sauna (Vabali or Olivin) and Thai food from Samakki… the best!
