Super location. Lovely modern hotel.

Excellent location, 10 minute walk from S bahn station. Walking distance to all Berlin sights. Well set out room with everything you need. Coffee etc available on top floor 24 hours of the day, as well as an honesty bar. Big shower. Welcoming staff. Freshly made food for breakfast from the cafe on the ground floor.

Chic and Great Value Stay in Mitte

We spent two nights here and were so pleasantly surprised! The value was excellent—our room was clean and comfortable with soft robes and Camper slippers, plus access to the sauna and gym. The location was great, within easy walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. We would definitely stay here again, or visit the sister property in Barcelona! Thank you to the Casa Camper team.

Modern, stylish and comfortable

A modern, stylish hotel in a convenient location. Reception staff are friendly and helpful, and the lobby is super-stylish. Our room was spacious and comfortable- although we didn’t like the open bathroom with only a curtain dividing it from the bedroom end. The shower has an opaque section but otherwise the bathroom has a large clear window overlooking the street . As we were on the first floor this felt a little too open!! The shower itself is very good though! There are no coffee making facilities in the room but a really lovely top floor lounge with fantastic views, where you can have lovely free coffee, and some snacks that you can purchase. Breakfast is to order and very good. We had poached eggs, pane con tomate and avocado on toast, as well as fruit and granola over our two mornings. Excellent gluten free toast (and sour dough toast!) and very lovely oat cappuccinos. My only issue with breakfast was that even b though we were told we could order unlimited amounts from the menu, but in practice this needs to be done at once from the waitress as there was only one, and she was very busy! s!

The location of the hotel is perfect. The organisation of the room, the comfort, the size, hooks everywhere is perfect.

The service is great, the free coffee and tea all day ling in the 7th floor, availabile for all the guests is great. There are enough towels, the shower is perfect. There is water bottle in the room, which is something that not all the hotels give.

Amazing bathroom.

We loved this hotel. Spacious room, fantastic bathroom with the best shower ever, bathrobes provided. No coffee in rooms but it is available in rooftop lounge. We enjoyed the breakfast. Good location very close to museum island, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Extraordinary Berlin starts here

What a fabulous experience! Crazy location, super cool design and decor that spills into the room down to the infinitesimal level - pure joy 🙌🏼

Thank You Casa Camper Hotel Berlin

This was the best hotel I ever stayed in. My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights 5/26-6/3/25. The hotel staff especially: Luis Rodriquez at the front desk. Samara the Chef and Marina the lounge hostess made our stay wonderful. I especially appreciate all that they did. The lounge with the daily newspaper including the NY Times was terrific, the coffee was excellent and the breakfast superb. This was our 5th hotel in Germany and the best. The room was simple but well designed. The Lounge was a terrific room with many nooks and corners to have breakfast, work, or have a beer in the evening. And the location couldn't have been any better. I was concerned about some of the reviews. I expect customer service and will not accept anything less. I LOVED YOUR HOTEL AND WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR. From my heart thank you for making my stay so wonderful.

Great Hotel at a fantastic location. Fantastic vibe and courteous team. The lounge with its view and breakfast can be recommended. Definitely will come back.

Great Hotel with Excellent Staff

The welcome on arrival was good, easy and very professional. The room was excellent; very clean and comfortable. The Hotel is within walking distance of many of Berlin's major sights; very convient. We had a slight problem with the air conditioning and the reception staff moved us within minutes to another room. Breakfast on the top floor was good with great views. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location, amazing room and service and 24 hour free water and coffee facilities

Starting with the location of the hotel, this is perfect, safe neighbourhood in the very center of Berlin, close to all main public transport and also sightseeing. The room was big and comfortable with the rooms for shower, toilet and basin being divided so all facilities can be used at the same time by different members of a family. The breakfast area was open and available to hotel guests 24 hours with available water, tea, coffee, biscuits and fruits. Very convenient. Last but not least the staff was very friendly and helpful and very accommodative even with last minute requests, especially Despina was wonderful and a real pleasure to have met her. Shall definitely be back next time I am in Berlin and I am happy to recommend this hotel

Top recommended hotel in Berlin!

Adele at the front desk is super kind and hospitable, she even surprised me with a birthday when I checked out(was a day before my birthday), she really lit up the last day of my trip. Besides, my girlfriend and I are crazy about modern interior design - don’t hesitate to pay a stay here if you’re like us.

“We’re not in Barcelona anymore Toto”

We came to Casa Camper Berlin this October because we had stayed in the Casa Camper Barcelona last year and were blown away by how great the experience was. The Berlin property offers many of the same characteristics that make Camper Hotels the place to stay for “happy campers” like us - a great location, large, well-designed and equipped rooms, an excellent breakfast and ultra cool elements throughout the property. The Berlin hotel only disappoints when compared to its Spanish sister. The Barcelona hotel provides an extensive selection of free (i.e. included) snacks available 24/7 in its “Tentempié” lounge off the lobby, as well as a fully stocked “honesty bar” in its rooftop lounge. In Berlin, the only snacks available for free are a few pretzels, some cookies and an apple or two. Among the meagre selection (4 items) of snacks available for purchase are tinned sardines for euro 12 and a small bag of potato chips for euro 5! As to the “honesty bar” it has tequila, rum and bourbon….no gin, no scotch, no vodka. The single pieces of glasseware appear to be for display only. A martini glass but nothing to make a martini with. This is all overseen by a warning that you are being watched by a video camera. Not exactly a warm welcome. As for the on-site restaurant, it’s only open from Wednesday to Saturday. All of this seems to speak to a lack of energy and commitment. Perhaps the Berlin management would benefit from a stint at the Spanish property. Despite these comparative shortcomings, Casa Camper Berlin is nonetheless a great place to stay which I would strongly recommend.

Great location and value

This “hip” hotel was in a great location and the room was very roomy and comfortable. The shower was outstanding. Compared to other hotels we looked at in Berlin it was reasonably priced. Highly recommend it.

Nice but won't stay again

BED - Disappointing two-side-by-side mattress arrangement with annoying crevice between SHOWER - wonderful BATHROOM AREA - original and unique layout that was very functional 7th FLOOR "LOUNGE" - seems to be low priority area for the hotel these days, as ice machine was not functioning, and coffee machine lacked milk on three our of five mornings. Snack and drink choice is quite limited.

Hotel seems to have gone downhill due to focus on ground floor restaurant

I've stayed at Hotel Casa Camper Berlin three or four times before and have always chosen to return based on my overall customer experience, including the hotel's original design aesthetic, room comfort, the breakfast offering and Tentempié bar (complimentary snacks + honesty pay bar) for hotel guests on the 7th floor. Since it opened in the 2010s it's marketed itself as an upmarket design hotel in a hip neighbourhood of Berlin. I've also enjoyed staying at its sister hotel, Casa Camper Barcelona. On my return Casa Camper Berlin this trip (April 2025), "Bar Basta" has opened on the ground floor and is keen to attract the general public - additional revenue no doubt - but apparently at the expense of looking after the hotel's staying guests. This new ground floor restaurant is also where hotel guests must have their breakfast (i.e. no longer on the 7th floor, where it was enjoyable to watch the former friendly kitchen staff cook eggs and pancakes for you). In terms of breakfast now, the Bar Basta breakfast menu for hotel guests is different to the breakfast menu for people walking in off the street - fewer choices for hotel guests - and should be the subject for a separate review! The Bar Basta restaurant team, I am told, now manages the hotel guests' 7th floor "lounge" - this is my third night here and the water machine has been broken on the last two nights, meaning I and other hotel guests can't get fresh filtered drinking water. Last night the coffee machine wasn't working for another guest, so I thought I'd have a tea instead - however, how was I to make tea when the hot water comes via the coffee machine? I haven't seen any staff (hotel or restaurant) here for the last three evenings. Feels like there's something not quite right for Casa Camper hotel guests? You phone downstairs to the ground floor restaurant via a "dedicated phone" where the staff seem too busy serving Bar Basta diners to come and help hotel guests on the 7th floor. Also, there are hardly any snacks and drinks available in the "lounge" anymore without having to - you guessed it - phone downstairs to the ground floor restaurant to order something to be specially made and brought up (menu has disclaimer - these orders may take a while if the restaurant is busy, etc)! On the 7th floor there were only tins of sardines (?!), small jars of sweets, and small bags of potato chips. There are meant to be olives (a sign said so) but they were not to be found. All snacks must be paid for, unlike when I stayed here before. The range of honesty pay bar drinks has also decreased - basic wine, soft drinks and only three bottles of spirits - whereas there used to be a fully stocked bar, making the 7th floor a real place to hang out in during the evening with other guests. Sadly, now, the 7th floor "lounge" feels like a dead space. As I type my review from the "lounge", I watch the odd guest come in, look rather bemused at what they can actually have here, then leave empty handed. They certainly can't get a glass of drinking water right now, that's for sure. Times and businesses change, but I doubt I will want to return here again until hotel guests are better looked after on the food and drink front.

Three night break with friends

The checkin was efficient and friendly. Our room was ok with lovely firm bed and plenty of space. Very disappointed that there was no tea or coffee making facilities and no fridge. Great shower but cheap smelling body cream and shower gel which made both of skin dry after three days use. Went to the 7th floor lounge to find that complementary snacks have been stopped. When we said they were offered when we booked the staff just looked embarrassed and shrugged. So we made use of the honesty bar paying 5 euros for a bottle of beer. The wine prices were way over the top in our view. Snacks could be purchased but the selection was poor and pricey. We know the brand from experience in Barcelona which is why we and two other couples booked but think the Berlin hotel has had its day sadly.

Do not recommend

Pros: Good location Outstanding shower Cons: Breakfast is mediocre at best Lightning in the room is inadequate No minibar/fridge in the room No opening window

Service has gone down.

I was a bit disapointet, I have stayed at the hotel 5 timers before, and the service has gone down. The staff is not interested in the guests and speaks rapidly in english. In the reception you would wait long, because the staff where ind the office. The lounge and the snacks there is one of the reasons why I chose this hotel, but now it is only tea and coffee that is free now. There is no staff in the lounge, and the tabels were dirty , and there where takaway bags on the tables for the whole evening. On the first morning of our stay, there was no staff to inform of us of the menu, so we missed out on the possibility to order eegs, granola and pancakes. The tabeles where not cleared, when the guests leave. This hotel used to have a very nice staff, mainly german, that interacted with the guests and made you feel welcome. I am sorry to say, this is not the case now.
