Arlanoa (@arlanoa.st) hat zwei Leidenschaften: elektronische Musik und das Sammeln von Schallplatten. Dieser französische DJ und Produzent hat sich in Berlin niedergelassen, wo er das Kollektiv Supertonic gründete, das für seine pulsierenden und euphorischen Partys bekannt ist. Wenn er die Kontrolle über die Plattenteller übernimmt, taucht er uns in einen berauschenden Mix ein, in dem House, Trance, Breakbeat und verschiedene andere Rhythmen harmonisch miteinander verschmelzen.
Bei unserem letzten Picante-Event hatten wir bei einem Glas Naturwein die Gelegenheit, diesen Vinyl-Liebhaber nach seinen Lieblingsplattenläden in Berlin zu fragen. Das waren die Antworten:
Located near Ostkreuz, this is one of my favorite record stores. They sort the records very accurately, and you'll find a lot of subgenre crates like progressive trance, hard house, etc. Plus, the owner is really friendl!
Located in Neukölln near the canal, this intimate record store offers a wide range of genres, with a particularly strong electronic music curation. The owner is friendly too!
This one is kind of an institution, but I think it still deserves its place. The assortment is huge, as is the store itself. Don't go there for the prices (they are on the high end), go there for the vibe.
